I forgot to mention that I am a huge Boston Red Sox fan (baseball). The Sox are in first place in the division and the Yankees (the Sox' hated rivals) may not even make the postseason! *screams with joy* Looks like the curse of A-Rod has set in. XP

It's already September?!

I can't believe school stars in two days! It feels like summer has gone by in a flash! I haven't even gotten any of my school shopping done! *runs around in a panic*
On a brighter note, I met a kid named Emmit who Is going to come to Anime Boston with me. My mom is friends with his parents and they thought it would be fun for us to go together. This made me so happy because now I can cosplay without fear of looking like a fool (I was afraid of this before Emmit told me he was going). He wants to goas a character from Naruto. I think it would be so cute if he went as a pre-sharingan Kakashi. He's small for a 12 year old so it fits. =^.^= He also showed interest in going as Sasuke, or Naruto. One thing that kinda suprized me was that he didn't want to go as Gai or Rock Lee because he thought the costume was too hard>_<

My Cosplay

I think I've fugured out who I'm going as if I'm going to cosplay. It would be fun to do Anko. Here's a link for my planned costume.

The costume is $169 without the wig, so on a steady babysitting job once a week I should have enough money by the biginning of March.

What I'm looking forward to most @ Anime Boston is cosplay. Cosplay is when a person dresses up as a character from a manga or anime. I've seen some great cosplay but the clip below from youtube trumps them all for funniest cosplay I've ever seen.

Guess who's going?
ME!!!!!!!!!! *passes out* I can't believe my mom said yes!!!! I have to make sure someone is at home that weekend so I can go!!! Her only requirement is that I make my own money for it. I want to cosplay at least one day but I have a couple of questions/issues.
1) Who would I go as? I have a couple of ideas but I don't have 1 that I really want to do.
2) They're expencive! *sweat* (I could mooch one as a halloween costume :XP)
3) I have to get my camera/recorder fixed to document the event.
